George Thibo

George D. Thibo, of Bay City, MI, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026 at his home at the age of 65. The son of the late Donald and Patsy (Parker) Thibo was born May 15, 1961 in Bay City, Michigan. George worked at Michigan Sugar as a shipping coordinator and had a knowledge of all sports. He enjoyed U of M Football, gardening, fishing and fantasy football.

George is survived by his four brothers, Mike (Candie) Thibo, Randy Thibo, Rick (Sharon) Thibo and Joe Thibo; one sister, Buffie Thibo; special “daughter,” Amanda Weston; special “granddaughter,” Annalyse Bassett; special “great granddaughter,” Avery Harmon and his best friends and fishing buddies, Al and Dave Makovics. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Donna Thibo and his sister-in-law, Sandy Thibo.

At the request of George, cremation has taken place and no services are being planned. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to Sleep Heavenly in Peace Auburn.
