Anne M. Helm

Anne M. Helm (Pellegrini), age 81, passed away Monday, March 20, 2023 at McLaren Bay Region with her family by her side.

The daughter of Italian immigrants, Anne was born on November 16, 1941 in Fallsington, PA to the late Dominico and Maria Pellegrini (DiNatale). Anne married the late Donald Helm on April 30, 1961 in Rhodes, Michigan and they were happily married for 50 years prior to his passing. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. Anne loved flowers and plants of all kinds, crocheting, coloring, collecting angel figurines, and having her children watch B rated disaster movies with her. She was also a voracious reader who passed a love of books and therefore, the buying of them, to her children and grandchildren. She always made time to share a cup of coffee with friends and family, and her house, especially her kitchen, were always open. When in Anne’s company, laughter was never in short supply. She is survived by her daughters; Sandra (Albert) Schanck, Bonnie (Craig) Pender, Julie (Jack) Whyte, and Donna Patterson. Grandchildren; William Provo III (Natasha), Christina (Roger) Settle, Brandon (Jennifer) Provo, Alyssa (Jeff) Guina, Janae Whyte, Olivia Whyte, Rachel Whyte, Christa (Sean) Thorp, Rachelle (Jacob) Hilliker, and Rikku Rice. Great grandchildren: Mikayla, William, Justice Rose, Landon, Gaige, Peyton, Dominick, Gavin, Lilyana, Lila, Caroline, Julia, Aurora, and Ciara. Great great grandchild; Grayson. She is also survived by her sister, Antoinette Pursell. She also leaves behind her three best friends, June Cruthers, Nancy Elser and Janet Helm, and many nieces and nephews. Anne was predeceased by a son Donald Helm Jr, brothers Francesco Pellegrini and James Pellegrini and sisters Nicolina DeFrancesco, Liberta Pursell and Estelle Simione.
