Carlyn Joseph Bennett

Carlyn J. Bennett, age 20, of Bentley, Michigan passed away suddenly on March 14, 2021. He was born in Midland, Michigan on April 9, 2000, to Bruce & Dianna (DeLano) Bennett. Carlyn was an avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing, hunting, bonfires, camping, and spending time at his buddy Jake’s cabin. Most of all family time was important to him, he loved telling stories, laughing at a good joke, helping family and friends. He was a graduate of Standish-Sterling High School Class of 2019 and currently a welder at Magline Inc. in Standish, Michigan.

He is survived by his parents, a sister Adrianna, brother Mitchell (special friend Heidi Laudenslager), Grandmother Carol DeLano, Aunts, and Uncles; Vicki (Jake) Denman, Dawn Cunningham, Penny Drouse, Edward (Jennifer) DeLano II, Denise (special friend T.C.) Bennett, Roxane (Elmer) Schott, Gregg (Sue) Bennett, Gail (Mark) McCartney, and numerous cousins. Carlyn was preceded in death by grandparents, Glenn and Florence Bennett, Edward DeLano I, Uncle Mike Drouse, and Cousin Sylvia McCann.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 22, 2021, at 11 am from Pinconning Wesleyan Church, with Pastor John Tousciuk presiding with burial in Garfield Township Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home on Sunday, from 2-8 pm. On Monday, from 10 am until time of service. Please follow safety guidelines, masks, and social distancing.
