James (Jimmy) Johnston
James (Jimmy) Johnston, of Auburn (formerly of Pinconning), Michigan, passed away suddenly on March 19, 2021, at McLaren Bay Region Medical center after a brief illness. He was born on January 25, 1969, to Mary Lee (Compeau) Johnston and the late George Johnston, in Bay City.
James enjoyed car racing, hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his son and friends.
He is survived by his beloved son Jesse, his mother Mary Lee, sister Melissa, friends Blaine and Ray, Uncles and Aunts; Richard (Betty) Compeau, Leona (Jerry) Harrow, Carole Gromaski, Charlotte Krawczyk, June (Arnold) Wilson, and Tina Bergeron.
He was predeceased by his father George Johnston, Grandparents Lester & Ida Johnston, Clifford & Elaine Compeau; Uncles Tom Dean, Bernard Gromaski, Leonard Krawczyk, Michael Bergeron, and Aunt Mary Sweet.
Memorial mass will be held on April 10, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Parish, Pinconning, Michigan. Individuals are to arrive at Holy Trinity Church no sooner than 10:45 a.m. and it is requested that masks be worn while inside the church. Interment to follow at St. Michael Cemetery with family at the graveside.
In lieu of flowers, those considering an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Pinconning Food Pantry and St. Michaels School.
