Jeffrey (Jeff) J. Karbowski

Jeff, age 46, passed away on Sunday January 2, 2022, following a courageous battle with ALS. He was born in Bay City on February 12, 1975, to Jerry and MaryKay (Dybas) Karbowski. He is survived by his wife Michelle (Wackerle) whom he married on February 20, 2021, at the family farm in Linwood. He was vice president of Karbowski Oil, an employee of Foster Oil. A member of Prince of Peace Parish and loved bowling with multiple 300 games, golfing, hunting, playing cards with his friends and his passion for fishing especially ice fishing.

Surviving besides his wife are children, Lindsey Karbowski, Nolan Zehr, and Garrett Zehr; his mother MaryKay Karbowski; a sister Karen (Chris Wendling) Karbowski; aunts Francine & Richard Willett and Darlene Dybas; cousin Jacinda Wackerle; father-in-law Paul Wackerle, sister-in-laws Danielle & Brian Boetefuer, and nephew Carter, Nieces Chloe & Ella, Jennifer & Lucas Stark and Nicole Wackerle. Jeff is also survived by many close friends that he looked at as family. He is preceded in death by his father Jerry Karbowski, an uncle Jack Karbowski, grandparents Ben & Betty Karbowski, and PeeWee & Margaret Dybas and his mother-in-law Tamera Wackerle.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday January 7, 2022 at 11 am from Prince of Peace Parish-St. Anne Campus with Rev. Fr. Nicholas Coffaro presiding with burial in St. Anne Cemetery. Family will greet friends at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home - Pinconning Chapel on Thursday from 1 to 8 pm and at the church on Friday from 10 am until time of Mass.
