JoAnn Kocisky

JoAnn Kocisky, age 71, of Midland, formerly of Pinconning, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2026, peacefully at her home following a brief illness. She was born in Bay City
on December 17, 1954, to Louis & MaryAnn

(Ouillette) Kocisky. She was a graduate of Pinconning Area High School Class of 1973 and Bay De Noc Community College Nursing school in 1983 as a LPN. She retired from the State of Michigan working in public health services.

She is survived by her mother MaryAnn Kocisky, her aunt Mary Lee Gwinn and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Louis Kocisky in 2014.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 11 am from Holy Trinity Parish - St. Michaels Church with Fr. Matthew Federico presiding with inurnment at St. Michael’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 10am until time of mass.

Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider family’s wishes or donor choice in JoAnn’s memory.
