Randall James Schumann
Randall James Schumann age 63, loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother passed away Monday, June 27, 2022, at McClaren Bay Region Medical Center with his loving family by his side.
He was born on June 17, 1959, in Bay City, Michigan to Harold & Patricia (Hycki) Schumann. He married the love of his life Cheryl Coggins on May 14, 1983 at St. Annes Catholic Church. Ran enjoyed hunting camp with his brothers, taking rides while having a few beers, going to mud jams, eating oatmeal on the weekends with his mom and dad as well as having Sunday morning coffee with his brother Rick. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren.
Surviving besides his wife Cheryl of 39 years are their two daughters and their families: Sarah (Mike) Zajac and their children Mason, Arabella, Raven, Ezlyn, and Maverick; Samantha (Dwayne) Walther and their children Hunter and Harper Walther; his parents, Buck and Pat, mother-in-law Suzanne (Don) Rezmer, brother and sisters Rick (Cindy) Schumann, Rod (Lori) Schumann, Roger (Kelly) Schumann and Rocky (Jeff) Schumann, sisters-in-law Colleen (Bernie) Grappin, brother-in-law Marshall (Holly) Coggins, as well as several nieces and nephews and a special friend Kevin (Kelsey) Strong. He was predeceased by his grandparents, a father-in-law Marshall Coggins, sister-in-law Deb Schumann and his grand dogs Max and Kodiak.
A Celebration of life will be held Friday, July 1, 2022 at 3:00 pm from the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home with Kent Hawley presiding with cremation to follow. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday, from 11 am until time of service at 3:00 pm.
