Ronald Gayle Clifton

Ronald age 74, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born on October 19, 1948, in Beechwood, Kentucky to the late Arvin & Gertrude (Rose) Clifton. He married the love of his life Rosemary Gibala in Pinconning, Michigan on January 5, 1974. She survives him. He retired from Dow Chemical as a Chemical Technician after numerous years. He will always be remembered for his love of hunting, deer, sheep, elk and much more. He and his wife were avid UK basketball fans. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family and his grandchildren. Surviving besides his wife of 48 years are their children Rita (Michael) Guss, Melissa (Fletcher) Haizlip, and Ryanne (Joel) Johnson; five grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters Linda Allnutt, Betty Warford, Bobby Clifton and Marc Clifton. He was predeceased by a brother-in-law Jerry Allnutt.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 11 am from Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Matt Federico presiding with inurnment in St. Michael’s Columbarium. Friends may visit at the church from 10 am until time of mass. The family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to McLaren Hospice, especially Doris and Kim for the compassionate care given to Ron.
