Ruth Ann, age 82, loving mother, grandmother and sister passed away at her home on Thursday, March 4, 2021, with her loving family by her side. She was born on May 6, 1938, in Bay County, Michigan to the late Brown & Ethel (Bellor) Easton. She married the love of her life Donald Martin Konwinski on October 17, 1959. She attended St. Michael’s School and graduated from Pinconning High School; she was employed at the Standish Community Hospital from Sept 7, 1963 where she was a registered nurse for more than 50 years. Ruth Ann will always be remembered for her strong faith, she was a lifetime member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, the St. Anne Altar Society and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed crocheting, attending church, gardening and entertaining by having luncheons with her sisters, classmates, and the Red Hat Ladies, most of all she enjoyed her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving children; Rex (Marlene) Konwinski, Sue (Gene) Cochran, Mark (Diane) Konwinski, Glen (Darlene) Konwinski, Jill (David) Confer, Joan (Kevin) Carrick, Lori (Chas) Rocco, Brad (Rena) Konwinski and Erin (Adam) Oswald, 22 grandchildren; Sara, Stacy, Brian, Nicole, Christopher, Melissa, John, Cory, Kyle, Kaylee, Trent, Gabe, Emily, Patrick, Myles, Collin, Cameron, Harmony, Jeremiah, Abigail, Alexis and James; 9 great grandchildren; Madison, Larissa, Landen, Brayden, Brielle, Lucas, Connor, Camden, and Ava. She is also survived by her siblings Mary Ellen (Bob) Kielpinski, Donna (Ted) Polaski, Darlene Polaski, and Roberta-Bobbi (Charles) Lynch, as well as many nieces’ nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband on March 26, 1990, two sisters Irene and Therese Easton and a brother-in-law Mike Polaski.
Funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from Holy Trinity Parish with Rev. Fr. Kevin Maksym presiding with burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home, Pinconning, MI, was in charge of arrangements.
